Be A Trashionista!

Think you could be a Trashionista? We love our chick lit, but not even we can read quickly enough to write a worthwhile review a day! So that's where you come in. Do you think you can write an objective, interesting and snappy review of a women's fiction novel? Then why not have a go? Send in your reviews to us and we'll post the best ones on the site and you'll see your name in lights.

Your review needs to follow the usual Trashionista format (Less than 500 words, with an introductory paragraph and a rating out of five) and be emailed to us in the email, not as an attachment. Don't forget to leave your name so we can credit you. And please, don't give away the plot!

Send your reviews to editor@trashionista.com, and don't forget to tell us a bit about yourself while you're at it!

Thank goodness Nadine Dajani took a break from accounting to become an author. Her brilliant debut novel, Fashionably Late, is a refreshingly sophisticated, multilayered and humourous story that will make you think – in between giggles.

Lebanese-Canadian heroine Ali Hallaby seems to be "living large" with a prestigious career in accounting, a loving longtime boyfriend and close-knit friends and family.

That is, until several problems suddenly surface: Ali fails her final accounting exam, disses her honey when he makes a marriage proposal and begins to truly question whose life she's living.

Readers will enjoy Ali's journey of self-discovery as she follows her passions and authenticity rather than others' expectations and ambitions.

As a gift at a recent bachelorette party, Fashionably Late was a huge hit; it got all the girls talking ... and reading!
