MOVIE NEWS: The Nanny Diaries trailer

The Nanny Diaries is probably the most eagerly awaited chick lit adaptation since Bridget Jones's Diary.

The trailer states coming this spring, but I've checked on IMDb and they have a date of 7 September, which doesn't bode all that well. What does bode well is that Laura Linney's in it. I love Laura Linney. Anyway, let us know what you think.

The YouYube wouldn&#39t load yesterday so I watched it today. Now I know that Scarlett Johansson&#39s in it (I LOVE her too!), I&#39m looking forward to it more. But it seems like they&#39ve taken a lot of the darkness out of the story and replaced it with snappy Friends-style dialogue to lighten it up a bit which I think is a shame.

I agree, Diane. Bit weird. I loved the teddy bit: "The Teddycam has been compromised." LOL

I see she&#39s moved in with the family in the film version, which heightens the tensions I would assume! They should have given the family a name though - calling them the Xes works on paper but not on film so much, IMO. x
