MOVIE NEWS: Enchanted, Inc

I've just heard that Universal have bought the film rights to Enchanted, Inc, the first book in Shanna Swendson's wonderful series. I'm so excited about this - not just because I absolutely loved Enchanted, Inc, but also because Shanna is a Friend of Trashionista ^TM! Congratulations, Shanna. Got any casting ideas?

I know everyone would disagree especially since this person isn&#39t an actress and younger than Katie but I always pictured someone like Taylor Swift.

sometimes who i think of is not what the book really described....with that said, for whatever reason, whenever i read the books and owen and his smile or blushing is talked about i picture leland orser...i know, strange, but he can pull off powerful, yet shy...and i picture someone like amanda detmer for katie.

Kudos to Swendson for having an average main charcter that&#39s blonde! The heroine&#39s never my hair colour, and the rare occasion they are--they&#39re always outgoing, charismatic and the type you&#39d expect to get the guy. I always thought, if there&#39s gonna be an actress to play Katie, it would be Katie Stuart.

I suppose Owen Palmer looked kinda like Jared Leto, but he&#39s a bit old to be Owen, let alone paired with 23-year-old Stuart.

I will say that I do adore Amy Adams, though I don&#39t quite see her as Katie. I actually have a story idea in mind that "stars" her -- as in, she&#39s my mental casting for the heroine -- but that&#39s far down on my priority list at the moment. I have at least two other projects to get done before I start that one.
