PS I Love You trailer - Comments

I&#39ve not read the book yet, but I am a big fan of Lisa Kudrow, so definitely want to see the movie, though I&#39ll probably end up waiting until I can get it through Netflix. But I find I prefer to see a movie then read the book rather than the other way around. The book is invariably going to be better than the movie version as they can&#39t leave everything in.

I agree...finished the book yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Then made the mistake of going to see the film last night...it bore so little resemblance to the book...in setting, characters, and storyline, that I was quite disappointed in it. To me, it should&#39ve been set in Ireland, with Irish actors...surely there are enough American fims already!

I thought the book was great, I&#39ve never laughed or cried so much whilst reading, Cecilia Ahern is a lovely writer. This film would have been soo much better with an irish setting and irish actors/actresss. I hate it when Hollywood gets their hands on a good story and go about turning it into the same old polished crap churned out time and time again.

  • Yep, Lisa Kudrow was the best thing in the trailer, I thought. :)

  • Well, I didn&#39t read the book. The movie looks like something I&#39d catch on DVD. But I love Lisa Kudrow&#39s interrogations of the men on their status as to whether single, gay & employed. I should start doing that!
