BOOK NEWS: Gigolo

Gigolo_3 Having reported recently on the return of the bonkbuster, I'm pleased to announce that some of the new glitz-n-glamour books are pushing the traditional bonkbuster boundaries. A bit.

In Gigolo, the gigolo in question is a man (gasp!). Greg, aka Golden, has rich, glamorous women as clients and enjoys his champagne lifestyle. However, he can't help wondering if he will ever meet Miss Right...

I&#39m looking forward to read the other gigolo memoirs...it&#39s a shame the guys didn&#39t write the books themselves. I had an editor, she was fantastic, but I wouldn&#39t have felt any sense of achievement from having someone else write my book. This way I&#39ve managed to keep my authenticity, which has allowed me to be self-effacing, as I am in real life...you have to have a sense of humour to survive for any length of time in the trade!!! Good luck to you guys, I hope you all do well!!!

&#39Undercover&#39 by Luke Bradbury will be out this October - in time for Christmas. It&#39s the real-life experiences (I&#39m the ghostwriter) of a 20something Aussie lad who&#39s worked his way through the women of London and beyond! Each chapter represents a different client; they range from top models and celeb couples to young firstimers and a husband&#39s treat for the wife.

It&#39s published by Avon, an imprint of HarperCollins. Another publisher cited it as &#39head and shoulders above the rest&#39 of the gigolo memoirs.
