I still haven't read any Lauren Weisberger books (does that mean I should be chucked out of the chick lit club?), but I like the look of her new book, Chasing Harry Winston.

It's about a trio of best friends in Manhattan who agree to change their lives in the most personal and dramatic way possible -- and within one calendar year.

And for once I prefer the UK cover (the green shoe). I like the green and the US cover seems a bit much (one ring - fair enough; three rings - ooh, over the top!).

I just started reading the book and to be completley honest I haven't put the book down. The idea of living in fab New York City and experimenting with different styles of living is sinfully the most induglent concept one can write about. If you cant live the good life (especially in NY) then have someone else live it for you. The dreams of being attractive, sexually appealing, famous, and spontaneous (even a bit neuorotic) can be stimualting. I give this novel an A-
