If you haven’t yet heard of the Wife in the North then let me explain. Starting life as a blog in January 2007 (coincidently the same time I started mine) it is reported that in less than eight weeks Judith O’Reilly was offered a £70,000 publishing deal (meanwhile I’m still waiting).
The subsequent book, also called Wife in the North, humorously describes her frustrations with her changing and challenging life as she moves from London to the wilds of Northumberland with three children and a husband who is away more than he is at home. The US book cover is quite sophisticated I think. Carry on over the cut for the UK version.
The US one has much more of an impact don't you think?
The book comes out in July.
