BOOK COVER: Good Grief

I enjoyed Lolly Winston's first two books so much that I've been looking for a third, but there's nothing forthcoming so far...
While looking, I found this horrendous cover for Good Grief (the one on the right, clearly).
Good Grief was called Sophie's Bakery for the Broken-Hearted in the UK. Any thoughts on the covers? The name change?

The cover on the right is rather unsettling for some reason - like you've been caught looking at something you shouldn't. Can't comment on the title since I haven't read the book - but I would definitely pick the cover on the left.

I picked up Sophie's bakery because of the rather delicious picture of a heart cookie on the front (what does that say about me, I wonder?). I read it, but can't say the story lived up to the promise of that seductive cookie. Maybe I was expecting something different as I'm clearly in the minority (from looking at amazon).

I didn't love Sophie's Bakery, Helen - I thought it was good, but not great - but I really loved Happiness Sold Separately.

This link probably won't work (it's on page 2 of the Amazon uk listing) but I bought the book solely on the basis of this beautiful cover ...and the author's name, which I thought was irresistible. Why would they change to the horrid covers you've shown?!
