  • That&#39s true, Stella. Although don&#39t lamps usually stay warm for a bit after they&#39ve been switched off?

  • You&#39ll be reading the book while the lamp is on, and therefore, the heat won&#39t affect the pages which should be in your hands. Then, when you&#39re ready to stop reading, you switch the lamp off which means the lamp will be cooling down when the book is in it.



    It&#39s a lovely lamp to be sure. I&#39ve been giving it a lot of thought today!

    That looks cool! But I think the best reading bedside lamps are the ones that are ridiculously bright and attachable to the head of the bed.
