KERIS'S SUMMER READS: A Hollywood Ending by Robyn Sisman
Robyn Sisman's Perfect Strangers is one of my favourite chick lit books of all time (GREAT ending), and I've been waiting for another book from her for years, so I was thrilled to see there is one coming out imminently (August).
A Hollywood Ending features Paige - a starlet and a diva, who leaves the La La Land of Hollywood to find herself in a serious Shakespearean drama in London. Shocked by the difference and forced to stand on her own two feet for the first time, she begins to experience the real world once more.
Incidentally, this isn't the real cover. The real cover is much nicer, but I can't find it online.

has anyone noticed that sysman seems to have based the character of paige carson on liv tyler? or is this a known fact?
1) paige is the daughter of aging rock god Ty Carson (that would be steven tyler), whose band had great success in the seventies and then had a comeback. Also Ty Carson was forced into rehab by his bandmates, exactly like steven tyler.
2)paige hasnt had contact with her father until she was ten (like liv)
3) paiges mother was a playmate (like liv's mother)
i find this similarities very interesting. does anyone know anything about it?
