BOOK COVER: Dedication

At the risk of boring everyone half to death... here's another couple of covers for the same book: Nanny Diaries authors Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus's return to form, Dedication.
On the left, the US cover. On the right, the UK cover.
Bet you can guess which I prefer. What about you?

I like the one on the right. I think it's a very strong image in spite of the pink. That leg isn't anxiously trying to squash the suitcase shut, it's resting triumphantly on the baggage like those appalling old hunting photographs where men rest their feet on the lions or whatever they've destroyed.
I think the one on the left is very strange. Seeing a female body where his head should be is a bit disconcerting, and not in a good surrealistic way.

I was thinking the one on the left but Nell's comment above made me look again. It is a bit odd isn't it? That chap has a body for a head. I'm not sure about the one on the right either as I'm not a huge fan of cartoony covers.

Definitely the UK cover! The US cover is too YA (from the synopsis of the book, I'm assuming it isn't) and just plain bazaar.

Ooh yes, that is funny having a woman for a head... I hadn't noticed! (I like that it looks like a movie poster, tho.)
I would like the UK cover if it was the same design, but a photo. I just find I can very rarely approve of cartoon covers for grown women.
