Currently in the cinemas now is Elegy, an adaptation of Philip Roth's novella, The Dying Animal. I know Mr Roth isn't chick lit but the film is worth checking out. Ben Kingsley plays an academic who is romantically obsessed with Penelope Cruz who plays a sexy (believe it or not) student.
