Framed book covers

I saw this on Apartment Therapy and, although I don't like the chosen covers, I do like the idea.

The pictures above are from Urban Outfitters, but Apartment Therapy suggests you might like to try DIY: "Depending on your craft skills and equipment, you could scan in your favorite book cover yourself and print it out as tiles, or you could get to printed out professionally at a standard poster-size."

What do you think? Would you be interested? And what book cover would you choose?

  • What a brilliant idea, Barbara!

  • I totally love this idea! I did it in my dining room in my last house but with cookbooks. I scanned covers of vintage cookbooks, resized them all to the same size and used them as a border. It was pretty cool. As for regular books: I&#39d pick books with cool covers, regardless of how much I liked the books.

  • I love the idea...not sure what I&#39d put in the frame although I&#39m thinking maybe an old Enid Blyton cover...
