Richard & Judy Book Club 2009

The Richard & Judy Book Club has now begun on the Watch channel. Every Wednesday the couple will feature one book, leading to a public vote for Best Read Award in April. [via The Telegraph] I've already bought myself a copy of December by Elizabeth H Winthrop.

Has anyone read read any of them yet? What did you think?

  • I&#39ve nearly finished the list now. I don&#39t think the choices are as strong as in previous years. So far I have only really enjoyed The Gargoyle and The Suspicions of Mr. Whicher. The others were all quite disapointing.

I&#39ve literally (as in 5 minutes ago!) just finished reading &#39When Will There Be Good News?&#39 by Kate Atkinson, and I thought it was brilliant. Full of twists and turns, and lots of characters that are linked to each other through bizarre coincidences. The characters feel so real too, especially Reggie, the teenager. If you haven&#39t read it yet, go get it!
