I loooooove the trailer, but simply adore the book! Can't wait to see the film, it looks quite promising!

I loved this book but this trailer is shocking. I think it looks awful! I hope it is less schmaltzy than it looks :(

this makes the story look a bit too fluffy . i remeber the book being a bit more raw...
also, this trailer seems to give a lot away. if i were half way thru the book then accidently saw this trailer i will be pretty annoyed

Sappy and overdramatic acting! Book was outstanding though.

The book and his character were much darker. As a review on amazon stated "Henry, before he meets Clare is a hard-edged, drug-using, womanizing punk". Bana doesn't appear to be any of those things in the preview - maybe they are saving it (doubtful)? Instead it appears they put him in dark colors and figured that would suffice. I was soo looking forward to seeing how they'd show Henry in his youth.

The Violent Femmes concert and his ex-girlfriend were probably cut too. I saw no mention in the credits of her or her girlfriend. too bad!
