All Steamed Up

It is almost time for us to get our hands on Kathy Lette’s new mini novella “All Steamed Up”. Teaming up with Radox to produce an empowering girly book-ette on how to “Be Selfish” (that’s what Radox’s new campaign is called), it is all about how to get a little “selfish time” to relax, reflect and be a little bit selfish. Let’s face it, we could all do with a little help in that area but it is often too easy to get tied-down by work or commitments that we never get the space or time to chill out.

Writer Kathy Lette has coined the phrase “feeling Vesuvial” to describe how it is easy to let things get on top of you until you are liable to erupt and we are looking forward to a long soak in the bath with her new mini-novella to find out all about it. Lette has made a career out of the importance of “selfish time” and recommends we all take some time out to write or blog to air any opinions, views and frustrations.

If you haven’t heard of the hilarious Kathy Lette (author of “Puberty Blues” and “How to Kill Your Husband” among other best-sellers), click the link below for a sneak peek into her reasons for writing the conveniently splash-proof “All Steamed Up”. What better way to take some time alone to ponder and switch off than taking a few minutes to see how the master does it? View video

We all know what it feels like to be juggling too much – there is work by day, spending time with friends and family to think about as well as trying to get some well-needed alone time to keep a clear head –  there simply aren’t enough hours in the day! Ladies, it’s time to take some advice from Lette, for whom “selfish time” is a long bath, writing down her feelings to comedic effect and taking time out to think and look after herself. After all, it can be good for the soul sometimes. And as a special treat, here’s Kathy reading the first chapter! Listen to clip
