Time's up! NaNoWriMo finally over.

nanowrimo.jpgFor those taking part in the annual writing frenzy known as National Novel Writing Month, time is now up - at least it will be, at midnight. NaNo writers can now take their eyes away from their computer screens for the first time in a month - and hopefully, brandishing the first draft of a novel and feeling all that hard work pay off.

I imagine the feeling of completing a novel in a mere 30 days would be amazing - sadly, my own NaNo attempt fell flat (on day five - the shame!) as work and studies took over. But there's always next year!

So what's next? Well, March sees the beginning of NaNoEdMo - National Novel Editing MonthWriters worldwide will be picking up the red pens and attacking the manuscripts they slaved over in November.

So, what about the rest of you? Did you manage to hit the 50,000 word mark? Did you finish your novel, and are you looking forward to editing it? How does it feel?

We'd love to hear about your NaNo success - and even if you didn't finish, let us know! NaNovember here at Trashionista will return in 2010.

Congratulations to all the NaNoWriMo winners!
