Romantic Novel of the Year Award nominations

The Romantic Novel of the Year Award longlist for 2010 has been announced! The award, run by the Romantic Novelists' Association, is in it's 50th year, and the latest list includes books from Lindsay Kelk and Louise Bagshawe. Twenty novels were selected from the one hundred and fifty eight submitted, from twenty-four publishers.

The shortlist of six books will be announced on 11th February, and the overall winner will be announced on March 16th in London.

The list includes novels from Louise Bagshawe (Passion), Lindsay Kelk (I Heart New York), Linda Green (10 Reasons Not to Fall in Love), Lucy Dillon (Lost Dogs and Lonely Hearts) and Sarah Duncan (A Single to Rome).

The judges are Sharon Gurney (Sainsbury's Senior Book Buyer), author and journalist Alyson Rudd, and Moira Briggs, from book website Vulpes Libris.
