COVER NEWS: Last Night at Chateau Marmont

Back in January we posted the news of Lauren Weisberger's latest novel, Last Night at Chateau Marmont - and here's the cover!

The high-heeled shoe seems to be a signature cover for Lauren, who brought us The Devil Wears Prada, Everyone Worth Knowing, and Chasing Harry Winston.

What a sexy cover. It oozes sophisticated chick lit! I was watching an author called Martel Maxwell on sky News with Eamonn Holmes. Have you reviewed her book Scandalous? I just checked amazon and it's not out for a week. It sounded, er, Scandalous. When Eamonn asked how much of her new book was based on real life she told a story in the book where the main character who is a showbiz reporter has an 'accident' in front of Tom Cruise (she pees her pants!!) and admitted that once happened to her when she was a showbiz reporter!! Just wondering if you have any more details. Sounds like it's based on real experiences and I love that kind of thing. Also hadn't heard of Playing James. Sounds really different. Am going to order now.
