Unless you've been deprived of all media over the past
year or two, you'll know that the vampire craze still seems to be going strong.
With Eclipse, the third instalment of the Twilight saga, having just hit our
screens , it seems that we're divided into two camps. (And no, NOTHING to do
with Edward or Jacob!) There are vampire fans aplenty who seemingly don't want
the craze to ever end. And then there's the rest of us, who are living in hope
that one day, it'll all die down.
Don't get me wrong, I love a good vampire book (and flick!) and even with the plethora of fiction delving into the lives of teenage vamps and werewolves, there are some hidden gems. But isn't it getting just a little bit tiresome?
Thankfully, upcoming movie Vampires Suck is hopefully set to get rid of some of our vampire-related annoyance. The film, which will hit the UK big screen on 15th October, parodies hit flicks Twilight. It sees teenager Becca torn between two boys. Here's the synopsis:
Vampires Suck is a comedy about contemporary teen angst and romance movies. Becca, and anxious, non-vampire teen, is torn between two boys. Before she can choose, Becca must get around her controlling father, who embarrasses her by treating her like a child. Meanwhile, Becca's friends contend with their own romantic issues - all of which collide at the prom.

Roll on October!
