Rights have recently been purchased for a 'very special' first novel, it was revealed today.
According to The Bookseller, a deal was made by Curtis Brown and Doubleday, for two books by Tammy Cohen. The first book, Mistress' Revenge, is due for publication by Doubleday in June 2011.
Marianne Velmans, publishing director of Doubleday, described the book as 'a smart, darkly funny story about adultery and the wrath of a woman scorned, sharply observant of contemporary marriage, family, and life in general.'
We're certainly looking forward to it!
