HarperPress has snapped up a debut novel from journalist and former ghostwriter Araminta Hall.

The Bookseller reported that rights have been bought to the novel Everything and Nothing by Araminta, who was once a ghostwriter for the supermodel Caprice. Publishing director Clare Smith described the book as "a stunningly assured debut, superbly evoking an atmosphere of inexorable and sinister menace that builds to a mesmerising climax in a story that is, at its heart, about thwarted and damaged love".

The book is due for release in 2011.
