TV presenter Anne Robinson is to host a new TV chat show about books. According to The Bookseller, the show will be similar to BBC Radio 4 series Desert Island Discs.
The show, titled My Life in Books, will be a literary version of the music show and will be broadcast on BBC2 next month. Guests on the show will include PD James, Peter and Dan Snow and Trevor McDonald.
Mark Bell, BBC chief of arts commissioning, said: "Of course, we want to remind people that the BBC covers literature, but more importantly we want to reflect the fact that people talk more about books now than they ever did."
The show will be filmed in front of an audience and will be broadcast daily from the end of February, incorporating World Book Day on 3rd March, and World Book NIght on 5th March.
