World Book Night is
set to hold an event at London's Trafalgar Square featuring well-known authors,
actors and musicians, according to The Bookseller.
The event will take place on 4th March, the evening before World Book Night itself, and 2,500 pairs of tickets have already been set aside to givers.
Stars will be 'reading from books they love', with WBN organisers describing it as a 'historic and highly enjoyable occasion.'
Details of the event and how to apply are due to be revealed next week, as will details of how to join the World Book Night website.
One million books have been printed for distribution and hundreds of events will take place across the UK and Ireland with bookshops planning on opening late.
