notquiteafairytale.jpgWith the approaching Royal Wedding, there's no escaping that fairytale wedding fever! (Be sure to check out Trashionista's Royal Wedding Week, beginning on April 25th!) We're excited about Colm Liddy's latest novel, Not Quite a Fairytale, although it's not due for release until September (boo!).

Even so, it looks like a great read. Not Quite a Fairytale will be published by Penguin Ireland, and here's the blurb...

How many frogs does a girl have to kiss before finding her prince? From her first boyfriend in college (who allowed her to do his assignments) to her most recent (who allowed her to pay his bills), Evelyn has kissed so many disappointing suitors that she begins to wonder if the heartbreak- and the aftertaste of frog on her lips - is worth it. Her one-time friend John has already given up on his quest for a princess. When they were in college John was the romantic dreamer in their gang. But experience has quashed his dreams and he has settled for no strings attached sex and an uncomplicated life. When Evelyn and John are thrown together after years of bitter estrangement they suddenly feel old and battle-scarred. Now, they realism, they're the grown-ups and it's time to give up on fairytales. But should they give up on love too?
