A week of fairytales with Trashionista

princess.jpgSo, welcome to May - here's hoping everyone had a fabulous weekend. With all the excitement and events across the country dedicated to the Royal Wedding, we hope everyone had a great time. And for those who watched the wedding itself - well c'mon, who didn't? - what did you think? Here's hoping that Prince William and the beautiful Kate have a wonderful honeymoon, and have their well-deserved happy-ever-after.

It seems a shame that the fairytale excitement is now over. But then we thought, does it really have to be? So this week, inspired by not only the Royal Wedding but the wonderful new novel Living With Feet too Big for a Glass Slipper (by Lynne Tapper), we've decided to bring you another week full of chick-lit fairytales and fantasies. Yep, the fairytale is making a comeback, and we have a dedicated week just for you.

We'll be bringing you some fun reviews, competitions, movie news, interviews and some fairytale features. And to kick off the week, we'd love to know....what's YOUR favourite classic fairytale, and why? Leave a comment and let us know!

The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Anderson. Love the mirror which breaks causing a splinter to lodge in Kay's heart making him cold. Then they travel to the wonderful snow queen in her icy palace. Finally, Gerda's tears melt the ice and splinters in Kay's heart and all is happy ever after. A wonderful fairy tale! Carmen x
