We're already excited about lit festival goodness with October's Festival of Romance, and we now have some more great news - the Hampstead and Highgate Literary Festival is returning for its third year and is already a fixture on London's literary calendar.
The festival will take place from 11-13 September at the London Jewish Cultural Centre's Ivy House, near Golder's Green. Last year's festival attracted 2500 visitors to 50 events.
Throughout the three days, aspiring authors can take part in workshops in creative writing, genealogy, poetry, playwriting and getting published. Guest authors scheduled to appear include Sarah Brown, Raymond Black, Peter Snow and Barbara Taylor Bradford.
