Pippa Middleton is apparently close to signing a book deal for a guide to becoming the ultimate party hostess, it was reported recently.
According to the Daily Mail, Pippa has had meetings with publishing execs at HarperCollins and has also had talks with other publishing houses.
Kate Middleton's 28-year-old sister (who works in the party-planning business) became famous due to the Royal Wedding so it's not really a surprise that she would release a party-organising guide. The article over at DM states:
Advisers to Pippa believe it could become an international success, and predict it might make more than £1 million from royalties and spin-off projects.
The book, as yet untitled, is believed to include tips on etiquette, what food to serve at a party and how to decorate a room.
It will feature a section on children's parties, inspired by the blog edited by Pippa, The Party Times - part of her parents' mailorder service, Party Pieces.
It's said that the book will be released before Christmas 2012.
