The film stars Katherine Heigl as Stephanie, whose first task lands her in pursuit of a wanted cop who she already knows as the high-school lover who broke her heart years previously.

Fans of the Stephanie Plum series may have loved the movie version of the bestselling books. But One for the Money is one of many chick-lit novels to be adapted for the big screen - Shopaholic, anyone? Sex and the City?

  • Something Borrowed is probably my favourite chick-lit adaptation. I HATED the book One Day (I appear to be in the minority on that) so probably will never watch the film. I also hated I Don't Know How She Does It though (the book) and the film looks quite interesting, so you never know...
