AnnaSophia Robb has been annouced as the actress to play young Carrie Bradshaw in the pilot episode of The Carrie Diaries - the screen adaptation of the Sex and the City series prequel.
Okay, so Sarah Jessica Parker will always be iconic as Carrie, the fashion-adoring journalist heroine by bestselling writer Candace Bushnell. But 18-year-old AnnaSophia has been selected to play teenage Carrie in the series (airing on The CW) that will focus on her senior year and relationship with Sebastian Kydd.
